Chief of Operations
Donald R. Kane Jr.

Born and raised in Schuyler, NY, Don has been involved with Emergency Services since he was 17 years old.  Don is a current member of the Schuyler Vol. Fire Company Inc. and has served many ranks including EMS Captain and Chief of Department throughout his tenure.  Don completed his EMT training in 1998 and obtained his Paramedic certification in 2001 from Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, affectionately becoming known as a Beebe Medic.

Most of Dons professional business experience has been attained through many years of employment and management of non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.  Don has pursued advanced training in critical care medicine from the University of Maryland as a CCEMT-P and is board certified as a Flight Paramedic through the Board for Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification.  Don has been employed as a flight paramedic with a local non profit medevac agency for over 16 years, and was instrumental in the organizations expansion into our immediate area.  These actions have drastically improved the access Mohawk Valley residents have to high acuity Level I trauma care and definitive care services.

Don holds instructor credentials in many EMS and Health related courses and topics, has provided education to responders across the Country and State, and looks forward to teaching the future generations his diverse knowledge and experiences.  Don is also a NYS certified police officer and actively performs patrolman duties with a local village police agency.  Don currently resides in Deerfield, NY with his wife and three children.
